Thank you all for being part of such a fun and successful Recreational Meet! We loved seeing the athletes show off their hard work, confidence, and excitement out on the competition floor. It is always one of our favorite events of the year and such a special opportunity for the girls to experience the fun side of gymnastics in a supportive environment.

We also want to let families know that gymnastics team invitation emails have now been sent out.

Each year, team selection is incredibly difficult. We truly have so many talented athletes, and narrowing down spots is never easy. While many factors go into placement decisions, one of the biggest areas we evaluate is bars strength and overall potential on that event, as bars is often the most strength-based and challenging event for young gymnasts to develop over time.

Beyond physical skills, we also look closely at qualities such as resiliency, coachability, work ethic, and maintaining a positive attitude through challenges and corrections. Those traits play a huge role in long-term success within the sport.

If your athlete did not receive an invitation this year, please know that this does not mean gymnastics team cannot be in their future. Many athletes continue building strength, confidence, and foundational skills through recreational classes before being selected in a future season.
